Clodagh Evelyn Kelly is an award winning multidisciplinary artist who specializes in creating site specific installations in various spaces, through textile manipulation and exploration. She recently attained a Graduate Diploma in Community, Arts and Education at the NCAD, where she also received her B.Des (Hons) in Embroidered Textiles in 2011. Last year Clodagh was invited to represent Ireland in the Central Museum of Textiles, for the 14th International Triennial of Tapestry, in Lodz, Poland, which concluded in November 2013. Recently she was invited to occupy The MART Gallery as a resident artist for a week of exploration and experimentation in the old fire station in Rathmines. This exploration led to her first solo exhibition, 'Experiments' which took place in November 2013. Clodagh is currently a practicing visual artist, with the aim of developing her work further afield into site specific projects of display in creative spaces. She is currently working on various commissions.
