Chair's Address
Thanked and welcomed everyone for attending in person and by zoom.
Thanked the hard work of committee members that have served the group for many years and noted the necessity to have fresh volunteers to fill the positions that will be vacated in the near future. Immediate necessity to have a new treasurer to replace Kim Ling Morris as she has resigned due to conflict of interest with her new position on the board of DCCI. This role will be supported by a professional bookkeeper.
Winner of graduate's prize was noted and confirmed ongoingnto graduates from CCAD, other colleges not to be included due to travel constraints.
Noted that there was a clash with date of AGM and MAKE.
Group diary should be created in order to avoid clashes of important events in textile world and CTN meetings/events.

Survey Feedback 
34 respondents 
Artists' talks and skills upgrading wanted by most of respondents also a lot of interest in exhibitions.
Committee to go through suggestions at next meeting to try to come up with a plan for workshops and exhibitions.
Lots of suggestions for artist's zoom talks.
14 people volunteered to help out with exhibitions. 
11 people would be willing to come onto committee.

Newsletter Report
163 people received last newsletter to try to encourage people with lapsed membership to partake in survey. 34 People answered the survey.
Instagram links got most clicks from newsletter
Encouraged members to contact via email or Instagram with any items that would be of interest for the newsletter.
Stressed that any items for newsletter need to be submitted in plenty of time for the next newsletter.

?Agree roles for board members 
Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer (working with bookkeeper), membership secretary,  digital officer, exhibition co-ordinator, education officer, zoom presenter, GANS representative and others as deemed necessary.
?Agree in person, zoo  and hybrid meetings as needed

Suggestion for workshops in library-Fiodhna to follow up
Would be allowed but not allowed to collect monies at this venue.
Other suggestions:
Nano Nagle centre, community halls, sports club halls.
Suggestion that questionnaire be sent to members seeking suggestions for venues for workshops.
Points to be considered in choosing venues: public transport links, parking
Fiodhna to check if library would be available on other days mid week
Mary Ffrench to check  availability with 'The Workshop'
Noted that Foona Hutchinson exhibition opening at Blue Egg in Wexford Thursday 24th March for anyone interested in attending.
West Cork Creates have asked for submissions from interested artists.
Aoife Casey seeking machine embroidery artist for collaboration.
Eileen O'Brien to connect with Dara to collect piece from previous exhibition.
