30th November 2022 – 10th January 2023
Cork Textiles Network are delighted to be offered group exhibition dates at the MTU Cork School of Music by the Pause Committee from Wednesday 30th November 2022 - Tuesday 10th January 2023.
Pause is a platform for local artist and groups to showcase their work, creativity and imagination to the general public.
Members are asked to submit works to be displayed at the Fanfare exhibition in November 2022. All works must be ready to hang following the networks hanging guide lines. As all works are wall mounted we ask no dangly bits and if framed please use white frames.
This is an open exhibition for work by all members of CTN.
Hanging details
All work must be wall hung.
The School of Music/CIT “Pause” policy statement (see attached) does not allow 3d, freestanding, or pieces with dangly bits due to Health and Safety requirements.
It is also worth noting that there are a lot of children in the school every evening so you don’t want them pulling at your piece and damaging it or killing themselves!
Work must be either unframed or if framed, pieces must be in white frames only.
Work must be ready to hang with appropriate fixtures.
Hanging details (D rings) must be located at the top back of the work. (see hanging guide attached)
There is no size restriction.
The hanging fee is €10 per piece which is to be paid in cash on the delivery of work.
Please specify if your piece is for sale and at what price or if not for sale (NFS)
Sales are subject to a 20% commission for CTN.
Members are asked to put their name, price and contact details on their work. Also place your name on packaging for ease of finding piece during collection.
