Denise Lynch is a visual artist who studied at Limerick College of Art & Design and has participated in group and solo exhibitions in both Australia and Ireland. Her choice of art media initially focused on sculptural ceramics and limestone/wood carving, expanding to include textile processes such as batik and more recently embroidery. Series of themes have emerged in her work including belonging, motherhood and female spirituality, resonating deeply with Alice Maher’s (2019) self-reference to being a “maker of meaning”.
