Mary Lee Murphy is a textile/batik artist working through the medium of wax resist and dye on fabric. She works on a variety of fabrics including cotton, silk, linen and canvas.
Her work has been exhibited in solo exhibitions in Ireland, and numerous group, open submission and invited exhibitions in Ireland and abroad.
2019 Selected to exhibit in the ‘The Garden of Eden’, Nehaus Castle, at the 19th European Network Textile Conference, Haslach, Austria.
2020 Solo exhibition at The Irish Linen Centre and Lisburn Museum in Lisburn, Co. Antrim. Northern Ireland
2020 Selected for the 13th International Biennial Contemporary Textile Art Exhibition, Scythia Ukraine.
