Una Ní Shé originally trained in woven and constructed textiles in the National College of Art and Design in Dublin. Her practice also extends to print and large chalk drawings. These are the source for the marks and meanings of her large painterly felts. Themes include studies of skeletal forms and musical collaborations.
She lives in Corca Dhuibne, the Gaeltacht area of West Kerry.
